One Thanksgiving I will never forget!

One Thanksgiving I will never forget!

My grandmother and mother were both great cooks. Year after year the made the best holiday dinners. One Thanksgiving in the early 60s they both toiled to make a wonderful turkey, cranberries, stuffing, veggies and mashed potatoes Thanksgiving feast.

The family sat around the table and we said grace then dug in. The first thing I tasted was the mashed potatoes. It was horrible. When I voiced my opinion others tried the potatoes and spit them out.

Turns out that when my grandmom mashed the photos a used bar of white soap fell into the mixture. It's one of the more memorial Thanksgivings of the 74 I have experienced.
